Below you will find prices for the services offered by the 'Alpine Flying Centre' from 1/3/08. Rates are shown on a daily basis offering more flexibility and bookings for accommodation, courses and guiding can be made for any dates, pending availability. The prices are also shown on the individual pages relating to the services offered.

  Accommodation..

All bed linen and towels are supplied. Breakfast consists of orange juice, cereals, yoghurts, cheeses, toast, jam/marmalade, tea and coffee.

The below prices are for B&B accommodation only and do not include flying services.

  • Bed and Breakfast in a shared twin or double room for 7 nights or more is 37 Euros pppn.

  • Bed and Breakfast, shared in the en-suite room with private facilities for 7 nights or more is 42 Euros pppn.

  • Bed and Breakfast in a shared twin, double room or en-suite room for 6 nights or less is 46 Euros pppn.

  • Bed and Breakfast in a single room booked in advance is 58 Euros per night.

  Bunk Room..

  • For those on a budget we have a bunk room down in the basement. This large but comfortable room sleeps 4 and the nightly B&B cost is just 25 Euros per person.

  Flying Services for 2008..

  • Thermalling Master Class is 120 Euros a day. (In a small group)

  • Refresher, Introduction to the Alps or Launch and Landing clinic costs are 100 Euros a day (In a small group)

  • Direct Instruction is 250 Euros a day for Lodge residents and 275 Euros a day for non-resident clients.

  • Fly Guiding is 70 Euros a day or 40 Euros for half day (In a small group)

All flying service charges include transport to and from all the drive-to launch sites, including 4x4 routes and all retrieves, but not cable car costs!

  • Glider rentals are 25 Euros per flight for Lodge resident clients only using our services. Please see the paragliding or hang gliding pages for the details.

  • Radio hire is 40 Euros a week.

  • Variometer hire is 40 Euros a week.

  • School Beginner course costs are shown on the relevant pages.

We accept Visa - MasterCard payments, cheques in Euros, old fashioned cash and sterling cheque payments by arrangements.

  Booking is easy!

Please call or e-mail us for available dates then you may make the booking directly over the phone or via e-mail: there is a form below.. For security and if you prefer please call us with your credit card number.

A credit card number with expiry date and security code will confirm your booking and will be held against the booking. Once booked you will be liable for the full cost if you cancel within 60 days of your booked dates or depart partway through your booked dates. All payments including course/guiding payments may be made at the end of your stay.

Please make sure you have cancellation insurance when booking and remember you will require travel/cancellation, medical and repatriation insurance + the appropriate cover for flying.

If you are a European citizen bring an EHIC card. A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment if it becomes necessary while you're in a European Economic Area (EEA) country.

I understand that mountain flying is a high risk sport and that I cannot hold Dennis Trott, The Alpine Flying Centre, it's instructors or owners of the sites responsible for any loss, injury or mishap of any kind whilst attending a course or holiday. I will be solely responsible for my own safety at the times in the air and on the ground.

CHARGES FOR NON-PAID ITEMS OR DAMAGES. You agree to pay any charges for items or services by you or your party and not prepaid to us by you or your party in France, and for any damages or loss incurred or property controlled by 'The Flyers Lodge/Alpine Flying Centre' arising from any act or default by you or your party.
